Abstract

ABSTRACT
Despite major advances in diagnosis and treatment, ectopic pregnancy (EP) continues to be a major cause of maternal mortality in the first trimester of pregnancy. Recurrence of ectopic pregnancy on a remaining tubal stump is a rare , and we report the case of a ruptured ectopic pregnancy on a tubal stump after total salpingectomy of the said tube managed at CHRACERH, in a 36-year-old patient G4P1021. This case report highlights both the diagnostic problem and the surgical management of a first salpingectomy in order to alleviate this public health problem.
