Abstract
Osgood-Schlatter disease and Sinding-Larsen-Johansson syndrome are forms of knee apophysitis commonly seen in athletic children. These two conditions can coexist, causing pain in the front of the knee in children. We report the case of a 14-year-old non-athletic child with psychomotor delay. He presented with mechanical knee pain. Imaging confirmed a combination of Osgood-Schlatter disease and Sinding-Larsen-Johansson syndrome. Conservative treatment consisting of rest, orthotics, and anti-inflammatory medication led to improvement.
