Nous avons initié ce travail dans le but d’évaluer les examens de radiologie réalisés dans le service  pendant une période  de six mois. Patients et méthodes. Il s’agit d’une étude prospective qui s’est déroulée pendant une période d’étude de six mois allant du 1er juin au 31 novembre 2019 soit une durée de six (06) mois  dans le Service de Radiologie et d’Imagerie Médicale du centre hospitalier Mère Enfant le Luxembourg. Résultats. Au terme de notre étude il s’est ressorti que les examens de radiographie standard étaient réalisés à 54,51% avec une prédominance des examens  osseux à 25,47%. Les examens scanographiques ont représenté  33,92% des examens. On a noté une prédominance de TDM cérébrale à 59,35%. Les examens échographiques ont concernés 11,57% Pendant les gardes 19,49% des examens ont été réalisés. Conclusion : L’imagerie médicale est devenue essentielle dans l’étude du corps humain et constitue désormais un outil indispensable à la détection et le traitement de la plupart des pathologies, de la simple fracture aux tumeurs les plus graves.<br />RÉSUMÉ<br />Objective: We initiated this work with the aim of evaluating the radiology examinations carried out in the department during a study period of six months. Patients and methods: This is a prospective study which took place during a six-month study period from June 1 to November 31, 2019, i.e. a duration of six (06) months in the Radiology Department and of Medical Imaging at the Mother Child Hospital Luxembourg. Result: At the end of our study, it emerged that standard radiography examinations were performed at 54.51% with a predominance of bone examinations at 25.47%. CT examinations accounted for 33.92% of the examinations. A prevalence of brain CT was noted at 59.35%. Ultrasound examinations concerned 11.57%. During the guards 19.49% of the examinations were carried out.
