ABSTRACT
Amyloidosis is an overload pathology characterized by extracellular deposits of amorphous substance named amyloid. Schwannoma is a rare benign tumor that develops from Schwann cells. The combination of amyloidosis and schwannoma is a rare but potentially serious disease. We report a case of benign cervical schwannoma associated with amyloidosis complicated by severe renal failure. The renal involvement was possibly due to amyloidosis related to schwannoma. This association has not yet been reported in the African literature, hence the interest of this case.

}, number={11}, journal={HEALTH SCIENCES AND DISEASE}, author={Djiguiba K and Ibrahimi A and Rouas L and Alhamany Z and Cherkaoui A and Bziz A and Benamar L and Ezaitouni F and Bayahia R and Ouzeddoun N}, year={2022}, month={Oct.} }
