ABSTRACT
Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), the second most common keratinocytic carcinomas, may arise de novo or follow precursors. They usually present as an ulcerated and/or budding lesion, rarely giving way to atypical clinical presentations. We report the case of a 53-year-old patient with atypical plantar squamous cell carcinoma, mimicking the clinical appearance of cutaneous actinomycosis.
