ABSTRACT
Tethered cord syndrome is a rare condition caused by the spinal column growing faster than the cord. It causes non specific spinal and urological symptoms. A 20-year-old woman was admitted to the PK9 Military Hospital with urinary incontinence and progressive low back pain. She underwent an MRI scan, which led to the diagnosis of a low-lying attached cord. Low attached cord should be evoked in any patient presenting with a progressive history of low back pain associated with urinary disorders with an otherwise normal examination.
