Abstract
RÉSUMÉ
Les changements hormonaux et physiologiques liées à la grossesse peuvent favoriser une fragilité artério-veineuse allant des ruptures artérielles aux pseudo-anévrismes. L’atteinte de la carotide interne extra crânienne reste exceptionnelle. A notre connaissance, nous rapportons le troisième cas d’un pseudo-anévrisme spontané de la carotide primitive interne pendant la grossesse. Bien que le traitement chirurgical reste de premier choix, la prise en charge a été faite par la mise en place d’une endoprothèse suivi d’une mise à plat du pseudo-anévrysme avec un bon résultat et suites simples.
ABSTRACT
The hormonal and physiological changes associated with pregnancy can promote arteriovenous fragility ranging from arterial ruptures to pseudo-aneurysms. The involvement of the extra cranial internal carotid artery remains exceptional. To our knowledge, we report the third case of a spontaneous pseudoaneurysm of the primary internal carotid during pregnancy. Although the surgical treatment remains of first choice, the management was made by the installation of a cover stent followed by a flattening of the pseudo-aneurysm with a good result.
