Abstract

ABSTRACT
Tuberculosis settled in the central nervous system is rare. Among its neurological manifestations, there is cerebral venous thrombosis. This is manifested, among other things, by cerebral venous infarctions, sometimes accompanied by hemorrhagic phenomena. We report a case of disseminated, progressive and severe tuberculosis. This case is particular because of its severity, characterized by the concomitant occurrence of several cerebral venous hemorrhagic infarctions during first-line antituberculosis treatment, and because of its etiological features (vasculitis and probable Mycobacterium tuberculosis meningitis resistant to rifampicin and isoniazid).
