Abstract

RÉSUMÉ
Les entreprises de nos jours ne se limitent plus sur les notions de production et vente car pour être compétitif sur le marché national et international il faut maitriser au quotidien la qualité, l’hygiène, la sécurité et l’environnement. Occupant désormais une place fondamentale dans plusieurs entreprises, le domaine QHSE (Qualité, Hygiène, Sécurité et Environnement) est un domaine d’expertise encore peu connu au Cameroun et portant présent dans le pays depuis une quinzaine d’année. C’est un domaine comprenant l’identification et le respect des normes de production d’une entreprise, avec une attention particulière à l’environnement de travail des salariés, au matériel et au respect de l’environnement. Ses champs d’action principaux sont la prévention des différents risques professionnels et le respect des normes qualité, hygiène, sécurité et environnement. C’est alors un domaine de spécialisation de la santé environnemental qui vise à réduire les impacts des sanitaire et environnementaux de l’activité humaine. Le chargé QHSE (ou coordinateur QHSE, préventeur QHSE, responsable QHSE, responsable système QHSE) s’attache ainsi à la sécurité du personnel, à sa formation en matière de prévention, aux respects des normes, et à la fiabilité des installations dans l’entreprise. Surtout implémenté dans les entreprises multinationales, ce domaine gagne en importance et nécessite une attention particulière pour les spécialistes de la santé environnementale au Cameroun.
ABSTRACT
Companies nowadays are no longer limited to the concepts of production and sales because it is necessary to master daily quality, hygiene, safety and environment in order to be competitive on the national and international market. Occupying a fundamental place in several companies, the field QHSE (Quality, Hygiene, Safety and Environment) is a field of expertise still little known in Cameroon and present in the country for about fifteen years. This is an area involving the identification and compliance with the production standards of a company, with particular attention to the working environment of employees, equipment and respect for the environment. Its main areas of action are the prevention of various occupational risks and compliance with quality, hygiene, safety and environmental standards. It is then an area of environmental health specialization that aims to reduce the health and environmental impacts of human activity. The QHSE manager (or QHSE coordinator, QHSE foreman, QHSE manager, QHSE system manager) is thus committed to the safety of staff, their prevention training, compliance with standards, and the reliability of facilities in the company. Especially implemented in multinational companies, this field is gaining importance and requires special attention for environmental health specialists in Cameroon.
