Abstract
RÉSUMÉ
Le carcinome adénoïde kystique ou cylindrome est une tumeur maligne se développant au dépend des glandes salivaires principales. Les atteintes des glandes salivaires accessoires sont très rares et la localisation laryngée représente moins de 1% dans la littérature. Les récidives sont fréquentes et le taux de survie à 5 ans est extrêmement faible. Nous rapportons 2 cas rares de carcinomes adénoïdes kystiques du larynx pris en charge au Cameroun dans le but de mettre en lumière les difficultés diagnostiques et thérapeutiques des cancers cervico faciaux en général et de ce type particulier de carcinomes laryngés dans notre contexte hospitalier.
ABSTRACT
Adenoid cystic carcinoma or cylindroma is a malignant tumor developing in the main salivary glands. Accessories salivary glands cancer are very rare and laryngeal localization represents less than 1% in the literature. Recurrences are frequent and the 5-year survival rate is extremely low. We report 2 rare cases of adenoid cystic carcinoma of the larynx treated in Cameroon with the aim of highlighting the diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties of head and neck cancers in general and especially in this particular type of laryngeal carcinoma in our environment.
