Abstract
RÉSUMÉ
La tumeur mixte épithéliale et stromale du rein est une tumeur rénale rare, généralement bénigne. Chez l’hémodialysé, deux cas ont été décrits à ce jour dans la littérature. Nous rapportons le cas d’un patient hémodialysé de 37 ans ayant consulté pour une douleur intense du flanc droit. L’examen clinique a révélé une masse dans la fosse lombaire droite. L’uroscanner a mis en évidence une masse rénale droite hétérogène. Une néphrectomie élargie droite a été réalisée et l’étude anatomo-pathologique de la pièce opératoire a objectivé une tumeur mixte épithéliale et stromale du rein droit. Le patient poursuit ses séances d’hémodialyse.
ABSTRACT
Mixed epithelial and stromal tumor of kidney is a rare, usually benign renal tumor. In hemodialysis patients, two cases have been described to date. We report the case of a 37-year-old male hemodialysis patient who presented with severe right flank pain. Clinical examination revealed a mass in the right lumbar fossa. CT urogram revealed a heterogeneous right renal mass. A right enlarged nephrectomy was performed. Pathological evaluation of the surgical specimen showed a mixed epithelial and stromal tumor of right kidney. The patient is still undergoing hemodialysis.
