Abstract


RÉSUMÉ
Introduction. La prévalence des céphalées chez les professionnels de la santé est plus élevée que dans la population générale. L’objectif de notre étude était d’évaluer la prévalence des céphalées ainsi que ses facteurs associés chez les infirmiers de la ville de Bobo-Dioulasso. Patients et méthodes. Il s’est agi d’une étude transversale menée auprès des infirmiers des structures sanitaires publiques de la ville de Bobo-Dioulasso du 10 janvier au 9 avril 2022 à l’aide d’un questionnaire auto-administré. L’analyse des données a été faite à l’aide du logiciel Epi Info 7.2.2.6. Résultats. Au total, 208 infirmiers ont été inclus dans notre étude. Le sex-ratio était de 1,53. L’âge moyen des enquêtés était de 39,78 ans ±6,92. La majorité des infirmiers n’avait pas une ancienneté professionnelle de plus de 10 ans (57,69%). La prévalence de la céphalée dans notre population d’étude était de 53,85%. Les facteurs associés à la survenue des céphalées étaient le sexe féminin (p=0,013; OR=1,92; IC95%:1,08-3,44), l’âge supérieur à 40 ans (p=0,003; OR=2,16; IC95%:1,24-3,77) et l’ancienneté professionnelle supérieure à 10 ans (p=0,001; OR= 2,39; IC95%:1,35-4,22). Conclusion. La prévalence des céphalées chez les infirmiers de la ville de Bobo-Dioulasso était élevée. Cette étude a mis en évidence le rôle des facteurs professionnels.
ABSTRACT
Introduction. The prevalence of headaches among health professionals is higher than in the general population. The objective of our study was to assess the prevalence of headaches and its associated factors among nurses in the city of Bobo-Dioulasso. Patients and methods. It was a cross-sectional study conducted among agents of public health centers in the city of Bobo-Dioulasso from january 10th to april 9th, 2022 using a self-administered questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using Epi Info 7.2.2.6. Results. A total of 208 nurses were included in our study. The sex-ratio was 1.53. The average age of the respondents was 39.78 years±6.92. About 57.69% of the participants had 10 years and less of seniority. The prevalence of headache in our study population was 53.85%. Factors associated with the onset of headaches were female sex (p=0.013; OR= 1.92; CI95%:1.08-3.44), age more than 40 years (p=0.003; OR=2.16; CI95%:1.24-3.77) and occupational seniority > 10 years (p=0.001; OR=2.39; CI95%:1.35-4.22). Conclusion. The prevalence of headaches among nurses in the city of Bobo-Dioulasso was high. This study highlighted the role of occupational factors.
