Abstract
RÉSUMÉ
Il s’agit du cas d’une fille de trois (03) ans adressée au service d’hépatogastroentérologie de l’Hôpital Mère Enfant « Luxembourg » pour un ictère et une ascite. A son admission, elle avait un ictère conjonctival franc évoluant depuis la naissance, une ascite de grande abondance, un prurit généralisé, des urines foncées et des selles décolorées. Le bilan biologique a retrouvé un syndrome de cholestase biologique et une cytolyse hépatique. Le bilan morphologique a confirmé le diagnostic d’atrésie des voies biliaires. L’évolution a été marquée par le décès de la patiente.
ABSTRACT
We report the case of a three-year-old girl referred to the department of hepatogastroenterology of the Hôpital Mère Enfant « Luxembourg » for jaundice and ascitis. Upon admission, we found conjunctival jaundice evolving since birth, ascitis, generalized pruritus, dark urine and discolored stools. Biological tests showed biological cholestasis and hepatic cytolysis. Radiological findings confirmed the diagnosis of biliary atresia. The course was marked by the death of the child.
