Abstract

ÉSUMÉ
OBJECTIF. Dégager l’intérêt de la proctoplastie dans la prise en charge de l’anus antéposé.
PATIENTS ET MÉTHODES. Il s’agit d’une étude transversale rétrospective colligeant 28 patients entre juin 2007 et novembre 2011 dans le service de Chirurgie Pédiatrique du Centre Hospitalier et Universitaire de Brazzaville. Ont été inclus tous les enfants (âge< 18 ans) opérés pour un anus antéposé.
RÉSULTATS. L’âge moyen des patients était de 6 ans (extrêmes : 2 et 17 ans). L’échec du traitement médical de la constipation était le motif de consultation le plus fréquent (54%) chez le chirurgien pédiatre. Tous les patients avaient une inversion du cap et une poche rectale atone au lavement baryté. La résection chirurgicale de la poche anale était pratiquée avec régularisation complète du transit intestinal dans 72% des cas.
CONCLUSION. La proctoplastie est intéressante dans la prise en charge de l’anus antéposé chez l’enfant.

ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE. To resport the results of proctoplasty in the management of preposed anus.
PATIENTS AND METHODS. a retrospective cross-sectional study including 28 patients was conducted from June 2007 to November 2011 in the Pediatric Surgery Department of the University Hospital of Brazzaville. It concerned all children (age <18 years) operated for preposed anus.
RESULTS. The mean age of patients was 6 years (range 2 to 17). Failure of the medical treatment of constipation was the most frequent reason of consultation (54%) to the pediatrician surgeon. All patients had an inversed cape and an atonic rectal pouch at the barytic enema. Surgical resection of the anal pouch was practiced with full regularization of bowel transit in 72% of cases.
CONCLUSION: Proctoplasty is relevant in the surgical repair of preposed anus in children.
