Abstract
RÉSUMÉ
Les thrombi intra cavitaires, qui sont généralement découverts dans le cœur gauche, peuvent être dus à plusieurs causes. Nous rapportons un cas de masse de l’auricule droite qui avait été traitée comme thrombus intra cavitaire, chez une patiente porteuse d’un cancer du sein. Elle était suivi pour rechute locorégionale d’un cancer du sein gauche et était sous chimiothérapie. Lors de sa troisième séance de chimiothérapie, elle a présenté une tachycardie dont les investigations ont révélé la masse auriculaire droite. Un thrombus intra cavitaire peut être découvert au décours d’une séance de chimiothérapie. Un traitement par anticoagulant oral est efficace.
ABSTRACT
Intracavitary thrombi, which are usually discovered in the left heart, can be due to several causes. We report a case of a right atrial mass that had been treated as an intracavitary thrombus in a patient with breast cancer. She was being followed for locoregional relapse of left breast cancer and was on chemotherapy. During her third session, she presented with tachycardia, and investigations revealed the right atrial mass. An intracavitary thrombus can be discovered during a chemotherapy session. Treatment with oral anticoagulant is efficient.
