Abstract

RÉSUMÉ
La maladie veineuse thromboembolique (MVTE) regroupe deux entités cliniques principales : la thrombose veineuse profonde (TVP) et l’embolie pulmonaire (EP). Comme facteurs de risque, on dénombre entre autres : l’âge, la chirurgie, le cancer, les infections, une immobilisation prolongée, la grossesse, le déficit en protéine C, protéine S. Nous rapportons ici un cas de thrombose veineuse humérale suite à une néoplasie hypophysaire et un cas d’embolie pulmonaire sur déficit en protéine S.


ABSTRACT
Venous thromboembolic disease (VTE) includes two main clinical entities: deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). Venous thromboembolic risk factors include, among others: age, surgery, cancer, infections, prolonged immobilization, pregnancy, C protein and S protein deficiencies. We report a case of humeral venous thrombosis in a history of pituitary neoplasia and a case of pulmonary embolism due to S protein deficiency.
