Abstract

RÉSUMÉ
Introduction. Conclusion. Les deux solutions sont efficaces.

This study compared the effectiveness of this decoction to 2% Chlorhexidine. Material and methods. This was a therapeutic, randomized and comparative clinical trial on two groups. The comparison of the two treatments was made by the Logrank X² test. Results. Of 60 patients selected, 20 had gingivitis without loss of epithelial attachment, 30 had superficial periodontitis, with loss of epithelial attachment and an average depth of the periodontal pocket of 8mm, after scaling and 10 suffered from pericoronitis, without loss. epithelial attachment. According to the survival distribution, 50% of patients treated with Chlorhexidine recovered between the 7th and 10th day. The distribution median being 8 days and 12 hours. The distribution median being 8 days and 12 hours. Furthermore, patients treated with the Mangifera indica solution recovered between the 7th and 10th day with a median survival of 7 days. According to the Lokrang statistical test, X²= 1.23< 3.84. Conclusion. Both solutions are effective.
