Abstract

It is characterized by an extensive epithelial proliferation, an infiltrating architecture, marked cytonuclear atypia and numerous mitoses. The authors report a case in a 47-year-old woman. The diagnosis is pathological anatomy-cytology. The treatment is surgical consisting of a complete excision of the tumor followed by a plastic surgical reconstruction of the scalp and supplemented by chemotherapy. Socio-cultural habits and under-medicalization could explain the high mortality of malignant forms.
